For the love of fun

Insatiable is a Salt Lake City, Utah–based ska band that emerged from the vibrant Utah ska scene of the early 1990s and quickly became one of the most recognizable ska bands in the Mountain West. Rooted in the energetic third-wave ska movement, Insatiable blends upbeat, horn-driven rhythms with punk, funk, rocksteady, and reggae influences. Their dynamic sound reflects both the nationwide ska explosion of the 1990s and the genre’s continued revival, earning them a lasting place in the Utah ska community and beyond.

Known for their high-energy live shows, Insatiable has been a staple of clubs, festivals, and special events throughout Salt Lake City and the greater Mountain West. The band has toured regionally as well as across the United States and Canada, performing at iconic venues and building a loyal fan base with their infectious, dance-driven sound. A career highlight came in their hometown during the 2002 Winter Olympics, when Insatiable performed 12 shows, including two appearances on the Olympic Medals Plaza stage broadcast on NBC television—an honor that showcased the band on an international stage.

Beyond their reputation as a must-see live ska band, Insatiable has released three studio albums, one live album, and has appeared on numerous compilations. In today’s digital era, their music is available on all major streaming platforms, making it easy for fans of ska, reggae, and punk-influenced music to discover and enjoy the signature Insatiable sound.
